The black textured dial evokes the distinct beauty of the Hotaka mountain range, with its many dark peaks and ridges having been formed by volcanic activity. This dial sits inside a steel case that measures 44mm in diameter and 14.9mm in thickness. Alternating mirror-polished and hairline surfaces across different planes give the it a unique sparkle, and with its down-turned lugs and crown moved from three o’clock and offset to the four o’clock position, SBGE277 wears comfortably on the wrist. The rotating bezel has a durable sapphire overlay with LumiBrite underneath, as do the dial indexes and hands. SBGE277 is powered by Spring Drive Caliber 9R66. It features a 72-hour power reserve and an accuracy of ±.5 seconds per day. Around the dial is a 24-hour chapter ring, and along with the 24-hour bezel, SBGE277 can be utilized to track three separate time zones.
